Who We Are

The Human Literacy Institute, a DBA of YOUniversal LUV Unlimited LLC, a Maryland limited liability company, provides educational and developmental programs, including Integration Spaces.

What Integration Spaces Are

An Integration Space is a 21-day community of practice.

Participants use the YOU Model as a framework and the R.E.A.D. Method as a protocol to observe their own patterns and engage in structured self-study.

Enrollment includes daily content, daily check-ins, one live 60-minute session each week, access to the member web application, and a personal report at the conclusion of the cohort.

What Integration Spaces Are Not

Integration Spaces are educational and developmental in nature. They are not therapy, counseling, medical care, crisis intervention, or a substitute for treatment by a qualified professional.

Nothing provided through an Integration Space constitutes medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, contact an appropriate licensed professional or emergency service.

We may recommend that concerns falling outside the scope of an Integration Space be addressed with an appropriate qualified professional.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to enroll in an Integration Space. By enrolling, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Enrollment and Payment

Enrollment is specific to the cohort selected at the time of registration.

Payment is processed through Stripe and is due in full at the time of enrollment unless another payment arrangement is expressly offered.

Your seat is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

Because cohort sizes may be limited, seats are allocated in the order completed enrollment and payment are received.

Refund Policy

We want participants to have the opportunity to experience the program before making a final commitment.

If, after attending the first live session, you determine that the Integration Space is not the right fit for you, you may request a full refund within 24 hours following the scheduled conclusion of that first live session by emailing info@humanliteracyinstitute.com. All refund windows are calculated in U.S. Eastern Time.

After that 24-hour period, program fees are nonrefundable.

Failure to attend the first live session does not extend the refund period. If you are unable to attend, the refund window will still be calculated from the scheduled conclusion of the cohort's first live session.

Refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever possible.

Transfers

We understand that circumstances sometimes change.

Before a cohort begins, you may request to transfer your enrollment to another available Integration Space cohort by contacting info@humanliteracyinstitute.com.

Transfers are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

Unless otherwise approved by the Human Literacy Institute, enrollment may be transferred one time.

Once you have attended the first live session or the 24-hour refund period has passed, enrollment may not be transferred to another cohort.

Missed Sessions and Participation

Your enrollment provides access to the full 21-day Integration Space, including its scheduled live sessions, daily practices, member application, and other included materials.

Participants are responsible for attending live sessions and engaging with the program according to their own availability.

Missing a live session, daily check-in, practice, or other portion of the program does not entitle a participant to a partial refund, credit, extension, or replacement session.

If recordings or alternative materials are made available for a particular cohort, their availability will be communicated separately and should not be assumed as part of enrollment unless expressly stated.

Program Changes, Rescheduling, and Cancellation

Occasionally, circumstances may require us to modify the schedule of a live session.

If the Human Literacy Institute needs to reschedule a live session, participants will be notified as soon as reasonably possible and an alternative time or comparable program accommodation will be provided when feasible.

If we cancel an entire cohort before it begins, enrolled participants may choose either:

• a full refund of the amount paid for that cohort; or
• transfer of their enrollment to an available future cohort.

If circumstances outside our reasonable control interrupt part of a cohort, we may provide a rescheduled session, alternative delivery method, credit, or other reasonable accommodation depending on the circumstances.

Text Message Communications

If you opt in to receive text messages during enrollment, you may receive messages related to your enrollment, participation, scheduling, and daily practice.

Message frequency varies and may be approximately one message per day during an active 21-day cohort.

Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages. Reply HELP for assistance.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase, and you may participate in the program without opting in to text communications.

Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your Content and Your Data

Content you submit through check-ins, reflections, and interactions with the member application remains yours.

We may process this information in order to provide the program, generate your personal report, operate the member experience, and improve our programs and services.

Where information is used for program improvement, research, or analysis beyond providing your individual experience, we may use it in aggregated or de-identified form.

We do not sell your personal information.

Our Content and Intellectual Property

The YOU Model, the R.E.A.D. Method, Integration Spaces curriculum, videos, written materials, exercises, application content, graphics, and other program materials are owned by or licensed to the Human Literacy Institute and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your enrollment provides a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use these materials for your own personal learning and practice.

Unless you receive prior written permission, you may not reproduce, record, publish, distribute, sell, sublicense, commercially teach, or create derivative commercial offerings from our proprietary materials.

If you believe that content available through our services infringes your copyright, you may notify us at info@humanliteracyinstitute.com with sufficient detail for us to identify and evaluate the material in question.

Community Conduct and Confidentiality

Integration Spaces depend on trust, respect, and responsible participation.

Participants are expected to respect the privacy of others and not disclose, screenshot, record, publish, repost, or otherwise distribute another participant's personal disclosures without that person's permission.

Participants may not harass, threaten, discriminate against, or intentionally disrupt other participants, facilitators, or the program.

The Human Literacy Institute reserves the right to remove a participant whose conduct materially compromises the safety, confidentiality, integrity, or functioning of the space.

Participants removed for serious violations of these expectations are not entitled to a refund.

While participants are expected to maintain confidentiality, the Human Literacy Institute cannot guarantee that another participant will comply with these expectations.

Technology and Availability

We aim to make the member application and digital program materials reasonably available throughout an active cohort.

However, continuous or uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, third-party platforms, internet or telecommunications outages, carriers, technical failures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We are not responsible for interruptions caused by services or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Integration Spaces, the member web application, and all related content and materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant or guarantee any particular personal, professional, health, or financial outcome from participation. Individual results depend on many factors, including your own engagement and circumstances.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Human Literacy Institute and YOUniversal LUV Unlimited LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from or related to your participation in an Integration Space or use of related services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a particular cohort will not exceed the amount you paid for that cohort.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited or waived.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Human Literacy Institute, YOUniversal LUV Unlimited LLC, and their respective officers, members, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or your infringement of the rights of another participant or third party.

Dispute Resolution

Informal resolution first. Before filing any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at info@humanliteracyinstitute.com with a description of the dispute and to engage in good-faith negotiation for at least 30 days. Most concerns can be resolved this way.

Exclusive jurisdiction and venue. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Maryland, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Individual claims only. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all claims must be brought in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be reflected on this page along with an updated effective date.

The Terms in effect at the time of your enrollment will generally govern your participation in that cohort unless a change is required by law or is necessary to protect the integrity or operation of the program.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any cohort-specific enrollment confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Human Literacy Institute regarding your participation in an Integration Space, and supersede any prior discussions, marketing materials, or written exchanges on the same subject.
